What is the ETD?

The OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertation Center is a free online database of undergraduate honors theses, masters’ theses and doctoral dissertations from students at participating Ohio colleges and universities. It includes the abstract for all included theses and dissertations, and, if submitted, it also includes the full-text.

History

2001 – The ETD launched as a joint project of OhioLINK and the Regents Advisory Committee on Graduate Study (RACGS).

Access

All theses and dissertations available in the ETD Center are freely accessible to anyone worldwide.

Benefits

The OhioLINK ETD Center makes theses and dissertations freely available electronically and eliminates the delay between searching and retrieving.
The ETD Center gives researchers worldwide immediate access to the most current research occurring on Ohio’s campuses.

Statistics

Twenty-two institutions currently submit theses and dissertations to the OhioLINK ETD, though any OhioLINK institution is eligible to participate.
The ETD Center contains more than 19,700 theses and dissertations. The full text is available for 93% of the collection.
