OhioLINK Research Awards

OhioLINK is very pleased to announce the first research awards available to the OhioLINK member community. We are funding small awards to support research projects of interest to OhioLINK as a whole. See the attached for a description of the program and instructions for application.

Program Goals:
OhioLINK and its members have various research and data needs that often cannot be accomplished due to a lack of staff or funding. To this end, OhioLINK would like to establish competitive OhioLINK research awards for member library or affiliated staff that will fund research projects of direct interest to OhioLINK and its members.

Funded projects should concentrate on questions and data that are relevant to the consortium and lead to a better understanding of OhioLINK issues such as negotiations, user expectations, cooperative efforts in collection development, and shared services. These projects should also help OhioLINK member library staff achieve their personal scholarly goals of publication, presentation, tenure, promotion, career advancement etc. by creating financial support and raise the profile of OhioLINK among its member institutions and member staff in as many professional venues as possible.

Please see the attached documents for the full Call For Proposals and Application.
