Priority Claims for Lost or Damaged in Transit Items

For items damaged in transit

  • If you are certain the item was damaged while in possession of Priority, the owning library should follow these instructions:
    1. Take pictures of damaged item
    2. Fill out the Priority Claim form here
    3. Send pictures and claim form to Guy.Cook@prioritydispatch.com
    4. You must report the items damaged in transit no more than 30 days after the damaged occured.
  • Priority will either replace the item with a new copy or send you a cash reimbursement.

For items lost in transit

  • If you certain that the item was lost while in possession of Priority, the owning library should follow these instructions:
    1. Search for the item on owning library shelves
    2. Search for the item on the borrowing library shelves
    3. Ask OhioLINK partners to search their shelves for the item
    4. If still not found and if it has not been more than 30 days since the item was lost, then fill out the Priority Claim form here
    5. Send claim form to guy.cook@prioritydispatch.com
  • Priority will either replace the item with a new copy or send you a cash reimbursement.
