Under the leadership of Dr. Penny Smith, the Northeast Ohio Medical University's (NEOMED) Oliver Ocasek Regional Medical Information Center (OORMIC) is an active partner in education and research at the University. The Library, established in 1973 as the Basic Medical Sciences Library is open 69.5 hours per week during the school year.
The OORMIC online catalog (NEOLINK) contains the collective holdings of NEOMED and 11 Associated Hospital Libraries. These combined holdings allow students access to clinical texts as well as the basic medical science materials in OORMIC.
OhioLINK spoke with OORMIC to find out more about the services the Library offers NEOMED faculty, students and staff as well as members of the general public.

What is the most popular spot in your library for students and patrons?
