Ohio Northern University’s Heterick Memorial Library

The mission of the Heterick Memorial Library is to meet the diverse and changing information needs of the faculty, staff and students of the University by collecting, managing, preserving and providing access to information sources, through library and information literacy instruction, and by fostering an environment conducive to academic inquiry, scholarly communication, creative achievement, and lifelong learning.

What are your top three points of pride in your library?

  1. Our ability to provide our patrons with accessibility to a wide range of resources.
  2. Our staff -- they are knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to help students and faculty.
  3. Our physical space -- we have great study spaces for individuals, small groups, and large groups.

What's the most popular spot in your library for students and patrons?

Our individual enclosed study carrels are very popular with our students.
