OhioLINK spoke to the library director to find out more about Clark Memorial Library.
What are your top three points of pride in your library?
We have a wonderful group of dedicated, flexible and hard-working staff members who have the best interests of our students and faculty at heart. We are always ready to go that extra mile to help a patron get the information or help they need, when they need it.
We have recently created a dedicated collection to promote Career Services materials. This collection brings attention to the needs of students entering the workforce and supports inquiry related to job hunting, interviewing skills, and other readiness materials.
The library is a central unit on campus, and we’re proud of the role we play in making a difference in the lives of students at Shawnee State.
What's the most popular spot in your library for students and patrons?
Students love the group study rooms. Equipped with laptop monitors and/or whiteboards, they offer great places to get work done with friends.
