University of Northwestern Ohio's Dr. Cheryl A. Mueller Library

The Dr. Cheryl A. Mueller Library at the University of Northwestern Ohio strives to connect students, faculty and staff with the resources they need.

OhioLINK recently spoke with Paul Higdon, library director, to learn more about all the library has to offer.

What are your top three points of pride in your library?

The 3D Print lab allows students either to design and create items for a class or to pursue their personal interests.

The Tool Shed is a collection of tools such as socket sets, wrenches, saws, drills, etc.  It is our most frequently circulated collection.

Faculty requests for our information literacy classes have increased by 427% in the last three years.

What’s the most popular spot in your library for students and patrons?

Our group study rooms are always full to overflowing.  Especially during finals week!

How long have you been a member of OhioLINK?

We joined in 2008, so eleven years.
