OhioLINK asked the Wittenberg University library director a few questions to learn more about the Thomas Library.

What are three things you have the most pride in at your library?

First, we have an outstanding staff who work hard and do their best to provide excellent service to our students, faculty and staff. Secondly, we are seen by students as a major hub and destination on campus. Finally, we have influenced a number of our student employees to pursue graduate study in library and information science and archives.

What's the most popular spot in your library for students and patrons?

The most popular spot by far is the second, or main, floor. There are a number of group study tables on this floor and the students tend to make great use of them. The collaboration stations are especially popular.

How long have you been a member of OhioLINK?

Wittenberg University was accepted as an OhioLINK member in June 1997 and went live with the central catalog in January 1998.
