Urbana's Swedenborg Memorial Library

The Swedenborg Memorial Library prides itself in its extensive collection of print materials, hard-working and personable student assistants and staff along with its campus-famous bread. Whether it be resources or food sources, students, staff and faculty flock to Swedenborg.

Recently, OhioLINK spoke with Samantha Kapp-Williamson, Swedenborg’s director, to find out more about what this library has to offer.

Ursuline College's Ralph M. Besse Library

The Ralph M. Besse Library was named for a benefactor of Ursuline College. Ralph Moore Besse was a trustee and friend of Ursuline College. In 1963 he became involved in the fundraising drive to help build a new campus. In 1968, Mr. Besse joined the Board of Trustees as a charter member. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Besse contributed greatly to higher education. In addition to his service to Ursuline College, he was also a trustee at Heidelberg College and Case Western Reserve University. The Ralph M. Besse Library was opened in Fall of 1985 to honor his legacy.

Wittenberg University Thomas Library

The mission of Thomas Library is to provide resources and services that meet the information needs of the Wittenberg University community. The Library makes information resources available to support and enhance academic inquiry at Wittenberg and shares these resources with the broader scholarly community as appropriate. The Library helps learners master the use of information resources in order to facilitate education at Wittenberg and to enable and encourage lifelong learning.
