Summary:
In spite of numerous programs and millions of dollars in investments by LIS associations, LIS programs, federal agencies, and others, the profession has done little but maintain stasis with respect to representation of Black, Indigenous, and other people of color in its ranks. This program will explore the reasons for this apparent lack of efficacy across these efforts and will propose practical strategies for ensuring that the impact of these and other efforts gain better traction and impact the profession in the future.
