The Circulation and Resource Sharing Working Group hosts presenter Brenda Zwayer (Bowling Green State University) to demonstrate how to use Alma's Shelf Report tool for shelf-reading/inventory in the stacks. Student workers use a tablet and a barcode scanner to scan each item on the shelf. This tool creates a report showing which barcodes are in place, mis-shelved, missing, or not in the catalog, allowing a quick and easy way to manage physical inventory.
"Watch Me Work” sessions provide the opportunity to observe Working Group members’ personal work processes. These interactive sessions are open to all. Participants are encouraged to share ideas and knowledge. “Watch Me Work” sessions are not training. Please consult with your LSP Project Leads (or Basecamp posts) for best practices.
