Call for participants: Cataloging Long Term Project Team

Members told us they found the migration’s functional project teams professionally rewarding and effective, and requested the opportunity to continue working together. To sustain their momentum, LAC recently approved the formation of two new domain-specific, long-term project teams (LTPT). The first team to form, the Cataloging LTPT, will foster community discussions about cataloging in Alma via a dedicated Basecamp. Library staff involved in cataloging, or any staff interested in this practice area, can join by emailing OhioLINK Support. Watch for a call for an Analytics LTPT soon.

OhioLINK eTutoring enrollment for summer and fall has begun

Would your institution’s undergraduates benefit from more flexible online tutoring and writing reviews? eTutoring might be a good supplement to your local student success center, especially for non-traditional students (including CCP students) who either aren’t on campus or can’t make use of your center’s schedule. eTutoring allows undergraduate students to virtually meet with trained subject-specialist tutors as well as to submit writing assignments for asynchronous reviews. Participating institutions provide a campus coordinator and at least one tutor (employed by their institution) in exchange for support from tutors at all OhioLINK participating institutions. Summer enrollment deadline is May 1, and spring is the best time to discuss enrollment for the fall. Please direct your inquiries to pgrimes@ohiolink.edu.
