How OhioLINK Works, Apr 9, 3PM
If you are new to OhioLINK or need a refresher on OhioLINK’s governance, structure, and function, please register for Amy Pawlowski’s updated “How OhioLINK Works” session on April 9 at 3-4 p.m. If you can’t make it, the new version will be posted to Ostaff. (The entire 2021 How OhioLINK Works series, including “How Policy Teams Work” and “How Implementation Teams Work” is available on Ostaff.)
Open discussion on the state of tutoring, Apr 15
OhioLINK eTutoring will host a moderated open discussion for tutoring center coordinators on the state of tutoring on April 15, 12-12:45 PM. As student success and tutoring centers continue to adapt to a variety of student needs during these challenging times, this moderated event offers an opportunity to hear what is happening at other institutions, share insights, and raise questions or concerns for discussion among peers. All tutoring center coordinators/ administrators are welcome to participate. You do not need to be an OhioLINK eTutoring program institution. Please feel free to forward the registration link to your campus tutoring center coordinator and encourage them to join the conversation. New Metadata page available on Ostaff
There is a new metadata page available on Ostaff. While some sections are still in progress, it includes Alma metadata, migrated metadata, metadata enrichment, cataloging standards and policies, database maintenance and cleanup, training materials & other resources, and errors in Network Zone records. If you have questions, please contact your DIAD Policy Team representative.
OhioLINK and SearchOhio lending has resumed
SearchOhio and OhioLINK libraries resumed lending on March 2 using the new Clarivate Rapido Consortial Borrowing (Rapido CB) product. Find more information on Ostaff, including a recording about the new product and the transition. Your institution may wish to change the default display order of online services in Primo VE. By default, online services will be displayed in alphabetical order. ELUNA 2026 conference registration open
The Ex Libris Users of North America (ELUNA) 2026 annual conference is open for registration! This year’s meeting is in Los Angeles, April 28 through May 1. The theme is “Libraries Always Changing,” and the agenda is available. All OhioLINK libraries can register with the ELUNA member rate.
