LSP Migration
- Migration Project Leads are completing the forms in May that tell Ex Libris how to deal with each institution’s data. Deadline is this Friday.
- Migration Project Lead meetings are being posted to Ostaff.
- The webinars page has been updated with new meetings.
- Working Groups continue to meet regularly. For anyone who wants to follow the Working Group meetings, meeting minutes and final documents will be posted on Ostaff.
- Theda Schwing and Nichole Frederick attended the ELUNA (Ex Libris Users of North America) conference in Minneapolis last week. ELUNA members have a great deal of experience in migration and post-migration clean up. We are looking forward to working more closely with ELUNA members across the country as OhioLINK goes live with Alma/Primo.
- Anyone with LSP questions is encouraged to talk with their Migration Project Leads. If your Migration Project Lead doesn’t know the answer, they’ll know where to find it.

Electronic Resource Analysis Librarian
Summit 2024 AI keynote this Weds.
There’s still time to register for the Summit Keynote, May 22 at 2-3PM. Jason Griffey, Director of Strategic Initiatives at NISO, will talk with the OhioLINK community about AI, its possibilities, and the potential future for libraries. OhioLINK office closed May 27
The OhioLINK central office will be closed Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day. If you need to report an emergency outage during this time, please contact the OARnet 24/7 Service Desk at 1-800-627-6420 and identify your report as an OhioLINK issue and provide them with the name of your institution and your contact information. For all other questions and non-emergency issues, please email OhioLINK Support or complete the support form on our site.
Access to former DRC videos ending May 31
Access to the set of 624 videos at the Films on Demand platform will end on May 31. The videos were purchased from Films for Humanities & Sciences in the mid-2000’s and moved to Infobase in 2021. See the list of video titles (PDF) on the Digital Resource Commons (DRC) end-of-life page. Specifics are being communicated to CIRM, ERIT, and Leads. CIRM voted in October to cancel hosting. If anyone is interested in continued access to these videos for your institution after May, please contact Jim Atkins at Infobase.

Congratulations to three OhioLINK librarians selected for 2024 Library Leadership Ohio
The State Library, in partnership with OhioNet, have announced their 2024 Library Leadership Ohio (LLO) cohort. Congratulations to Mark Eddy, Case Western Reserve University; Madeleine Fix, The Ohio State University; and Laura Sheets, Bowling Green State University. LLO fosters collaboration within Ohio’s diverse library community through programming focused on personal development and transferable leadership skills.
