LSP Migration

  • The LSP cutover timeline has been shared with LSP Project Leads, Deans and Directors and tomorrow will be shared with the Working Groups. The cutover timeline details the steps necessary to transition to Alma/Primo to ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruption.
  • Register here for the next LSP Milestone Update on November 7 at 3-4PM.
  • Your campus LSP Project Lead is your LSP expert. They can answer any LSP question. If they don’t know, they’ll know where to find it.

DIAD Policy Team meeting, Nov 4

The Database Improvement and Discoverability (DIAD) Policy Team will meet on Monday November 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. via Webex. DIAD focuses on metadata as it relates to integration between shared systems and local systems, authority work, database integrity, and the impact of displays and searching of metadata on end users in shared or integrated systems. 2024 ALAO conference, Nov 7 & 8

The 2024 ALAO Conference Planning Committee invites everyone to celebrate its 50th conference anniversary! The theme for this year's conference is Ohio Academic Libraries: Past, Present, & Future. Register for the in-person pre-conference, “AI and the Future of Academic Libraries: Insights and Strategies,” a hands-on workshop sponsored by The Ohio Health Sciences Library Association on November 7 at OCLC Conference Center. Join us for the Northern Ohio Technical Services Librarians (NOTSL) Fall General Meeting focused on AI in Library Technical Services. This event will explore the impact of artificial intelligence in key areas of library technical services. The keynote speaker, Terry Reese, Head of Digital Initiatives and Infrastructure Support at The Ohio State University Libraries, will discuss AI and its role in libraries & technical services.
