JSTOR’s Next Generation Tools for Describing, Managing, Sharing, and Preserving Your Digitized Collections and Archives
Please register to join us on June 17, 2-3pm when OhioLINK welcomes Bruce Heterick, Senior VP, Open Collections & Infrastructure at ITHAKA/JSTOR, for a live demonstration of the latest JSTOR’s digital stewardship tools and a preview what's coming. There will be ample time for questions and discussion.
JSTOR Digital Stewardship Services is a platform that brings together a digital asset management (DAM) environment, discovery and use on the much-used JSTOR platform, long-term preservation using Portico, and metadata generation and collections processing support through the new AI-assisted collections processing tool, JSTOR Seeklight. There are already over 300 institutions using this platform and over 4,000 collections available for research and teaching purposes.
Bruce has almost forty years of experience in the higher education and library communities and currently helps lead the JSTOR Stewardship team. He works with libraries around the world to incorporate JSTOR's digital stewardship services as an increasingly important component of their infrastructure, supporting teaching and research with their digital collections and archives.
NOTE: This webinar will be recorded.
