The planned maintenance for all OhioLINK services has been completed. All services are up and running as of 12pm today. Our sincere thanks goes to the OH-TECH team members that were working hard overnight to get the servers moved and back up.
As always, please refer to the Problem Report Form on our website to report any issues.
All OH-TECH organizations – including OhioLINK – are moving to a new data center. The new location at the State of Ohio Computing Center will provide us with a near-Tier 4 data center that can deliver a higher grade of services and achieve greater efficiencies.
We have worked hard to schedule this move so as to minimize the disruption to OhioLINK end users. However, it is necessary to schedule one maintenance window which will involve a significant outage of all OhioLINK hosted services.
All OhioLINK hosted services will be down for the move during the following window:
Friday, June 12, 6pm – Saturday, June 13, 12pm (noon).
This will include:
- OhioLINK website
The OhioLINK central catalog will be down for maintenance beginning at 5am, Thursday August 21. We are scheduled to install the Innovative Beta Release of 2014 and expect to be back up by 7am.
The following enhancements are slated for INN-Reach:
- A pass-through search from a local WebPac catalog to a central Encore catalog now works
- Refinement of the title matching algorithm to provide better matching of bibliographic records with multi-part works
- A new web application allowing INN-Reach consortium and member libraries to make more informed acquisitions decisions through a set of collection development reports
- Improvements in propagating record changes via Link Maintenance from a local server to the central server
- Expand integration of the Automated Self-Check product with INN-Reach ...
OhioLINK's technical support will be doing maintenance on the switching infrastructure TONIGHT, Thursday evening, February 27, 2014 from 10 to 11 p.m. It is extremely likely that we will lose access to OhioLINK services during this time. This includes the OhioLINK Catalog, the Electronic Journal Center, the eBook Center, the Digital Resource Commons, the Electronic Theses and Dissertations center, and the OhioLINK web server.
