Switch to Support: Advanced Ticketing Strategies, Nov 6, 1-2PM
Join us for Session 3 of the “Switch to Support” series, where we’ll dive into advanced ticketing strategies. This interactive webinar will guide participants through real-world scenarios to demonstrate how to accurately “path” issues to the appropriate organization (OhioLINK or Ex Libris) and Ex Libris ticket type. We’ll also explore a variety of ticket categories beyond Alma, Primo VE, and Rapido, helping you understand when and how to use each option for efficient problem resolution. Register here.
Introducing the OhioLINK Alma/Primo Listserv
To further support information sharing among members, we have created a new Alma/Primo listserv (ohl-alma) as an opt-in collaborative space. Participants in the new listserv are encouraged to share their Alma/Primo accomplishments—large and small—exchange documentation, and ask questions about workflows, display issues, reports, and more. The listserv may also help the community identify emerging sub-topics or groups that may benefit from dedicated lists or alternative communication tools.
More ohl-alma list information:
- For Alma/Primo information only. Questions or conversations about Rapido, RapidILL, and Resource Sharing should use the Resource Sharing listserv.
- The OhioLINK office will only lightly moderate this list. Members must contact OhioLINK support (or Ex Libris support) directly for follow-up on specific questions, support issues, or inquiries directed to OhioLINK staff.
- All messages and conversations are governed by the OhioLINK Code of Conduct.
- Please review the Ostaff listserv page for additional information, processes and policies.
- If you have problems self-subscribing to the list, please contact support.
2025 Ostaff Account Audit in progress
To facilitate OhioLINK’s annual Ostaff audit, Tasha Bryant-Willis has reached out to the OhioLINK Lead Implementers to verify their institution's active Ostaff accounts. As a reminder, if new staff members require an Ostaff account, it is necessary for the Lead Implementer, the Library Manager, or Library Dean/Director to request it from OhioLINK Support. The Ostaff support request form can also be utilized for name changes and account disable requests.
Knowledge Acceleration Program
The Ex Libris Knowledge Acceleration Program (KAP) is a live webinar series for OhioLINK members on a range of often-requested topics to help optimize Alma during a first year of production. Each session 1-hour session is delivered by the Ex Libris Training Services team and is open to all OhioLINK member library staff. Learn more and register.
