Alma supports authentication to a campus system via SAML 2.0. This allows users (staff and patrons) to log into Alma using their familiar institution login. Setting up SAML authentication must be done for both Alma and Primo VE.
Alma can be set up to ingest patron information from a local student information system (SIS). The primary mechanism to do this uses SFTP processes, as described in the links included here.
Ex Libris provided each institution with default Developer Account credentials, but you can also create a personal account and then invite yourself to your institution.
