Announcements

Auth25 kicks off quietly this week with GO 3.0

Auth25 is our code name for a set of changes to swap out the OhioLINK legacy authentication system with our GO.ohiolink.edu service. This Wednesday, April 30, we will update GO with new features for Auth25. All existing GO links will continue to work without any noticeable change. The week of May 5, we will launch Auth25 versions of the EBC and EJC. Our final deployment of Music Center occurs the week of May 12. See details on the Auth25 Ostaff page, including “How do I prepare for Auth25?”

More information is available on Ostaff for librarians and for authors (no Ostaff account needed). View the recording of OhioLINK Wiley New Gold Open Access Author Workflow (for Librarians) on Ostaff.

INN-Reach print lending pauses May 23

As part of our shift from INN-Reach to Rapido for print lending, users will not be able to place new requests through the Central Catalog or the SearchOhio catalog starting May 23 at 5pm. Lending will resume with other OhioLINK libraries as we go live on Alma. Lending with SearchOhio libraries will resume in fall 2025. Users with currently checked out materials will not be able to renew. OhioLINK and SearchOhio have placed messages on catalog search pages. See more on the Resource Sharing Milestones page.

Training and Documentation Working Group call for crowdsourced content

Has your library created Alma/Primo/Rapido training and documentation, content related to circulation, Rapido, or student/faculty communications/instructional materials that you could share with the OhioLINK community? The Training and Documentation Working Group invites you to contribute to a “crowdsourced” collection of resources that could be adapted by other OhioLINK libraries. Use this form to upload a file or send a link to existing web resources.
