Steps that can be used to manually order an e-journal subscription. 

This acquisitions task involves searching for items in Alma and creating orders for specifically electronic content.

To perform staff tasks in Alma, named user accounts must be given task-specific roles (similar to Sierra permissions). 

In Alma, printing can refer to either the generation of a system-based email message or creating a paper version of a notice or letter. 

Alma supports authentication to a campus system via SAML 2.0. This allows users (staff and patrons) to log into Alma using their familiar institution login. Setting up SAML authentication must be done for both Alma and Primo VE. 

Alma can be set up to ingest patron information from a local student information system (SIS). The primary mechanism to do this uses SFTP processes, as described in the links included here.
