In this role, Frederick will work closely with OhioLINK’s coordinator of catalogs, with personnel from OH-TECH, and with OhioLINK member institutions to assist in planning, implementing, and managing central library catalog functions. She will provide support for OhioLINK’s library catalogs and the integration of local systems; the print lending system; and the OhioLINK link resolver and associated services.

“We’re very excited to have Nichole join us,” OhioLINK Deputy Director Amy Pawlowski said. “Nichole provides stability for key catalog functions and improves OhioLINK service to users by providing backup catalog support. Her knowledge and experience in data analysis will be important as OhioLINK continues to investigate and represent use of our print resources and the OhioLINK Central Catalog.”

Frederick comes to OhioLINK from The Ohio State University Libraries as a library collections analyst, where she managed projects related to data analysis of library electronic and print resources. Her library experience is paired with a strong research background as the research director for Columbus Business First newspaper and as a fellowship services specialist for Ohio State University’s Graduate School. Frederick earned her Master of Library and Information Science degree from Kent State University, and her Bachelor of Arts in English from The Ohio State University.
