How to Set Up E-Journal Alerts

With a personal account in the OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center, you can request e-mail notification when new issues of your selected journals become available or about new articles matching your criteria (more information). You can also set up Web Feeds (RSS) for new issues (more information).

EBSCO databases provide access to additional journal titles, both scholarly and popular. To receive notices of new journal issues from EBSCO:

  1. Connect to EBSCO Research Databases and select desired database.
  2. Click the Publications button and find the journal you want.
  3. Click Journal Alert.
  4. If you haven't already created an EBSCO account, follow the prompts to do so.
  5. Fill in the form to store your journal alert.
