Several sites have started to use the removable labels in place of the book band. This is an acceptable replacement as long as the books you are placing them on are YOUR books. Not everyone desires to use the labels and do not want them placed on their books. So, if you have to replace a book band that has disappeared on a book that has been borrowed from another library, do NOT use a removable label. Use the old fashion book band.
