Ohio’s College Credit Plus program allows Ohio public school students in grades 7-12 who qualify for college admission to earn secondary and college credit at the same time by taking college courses. Once again this year at the Ohio Educational Technology Conference, OhioLINK sponsored a presentation overview of library resources available to College Credit Plus faculty, teachers and students with INFOhio's Erica Clay.
OhioLINK’s Tasha Bryant-Willis strives for exceptional customer service
Coming from an extensive background in customer support, Tasha Bryant-Willis uses her skills as OhioLINK’s Coordinator, Member Support.
Tasha received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Retail Advertising from Columbus College of Art and Design. Before joining OhioLINK’s staff she worked at the Office of the University Bursar at The Ohio State University.
OhioLINK recently talked to Tasha about her profession, her love of books, and surviving art school boot camp.

New Philadelphia, Ohio – Students and entrepreneurs in Tuscarawas County soon will be able to test, develop and implement their business ideas through a new “Makerspace” being created by the Kent State University at Tuscarawas Academic Learning Commons.
OhioLINK is aware of the privacy and security concerns around the newly released Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) 4 Reader. OhioLINK users should be aware that the vast majority of ebooks OhioLINK has purchased do not require the use of Adobe Digital Editions. These include the titles in the EBC (Electronic Book Collection), Oxford Scholarship Online, and the Wiley and Springer ebook collections. However, the use of ADE is required by a small collection of titles purchased through ProQuest’s eBrary platform.

MAVEN is the first spacecraft dedicated to exploring the tenuous upper atmosphere of Mars.
After 22 years and six months, Anita Cook will say farewell to OhioLINK.
Cook, who currently serves as coordinator of OhioLINK catalogs, will begin her retirement on Oct. 1, 2014.
She began her librarianship career as circulation supervisor at the University of Denver’s Penrose Library, followed by 11 years as systems coordinator at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She joined OhioLINK on March 2, 1992, as one of the organization’s first employees.
Joanna Voss joined OhioLINK on September 2, 2014, in the role of Collections Analyst. The Collections Analyst works with the Deputy Director to develop processes for activating and managing consortially purchased electronic resources, including databases, journals, and eBooks. She will manage projects relating to analysis of collection data, including developing metrics, indicators, analytics, graphing trends and creating models of summary data for print and electronic collections.
The OhioLINK central catalog will be down for maintenance beginning at 5am, Thursday August 21. We are scheduled to install the Innovative Beta Release of 2014 and expect to be back up by 7am.
