OhioLINK introduces GO for accurate local usage metrics

OhioLINK is rolling out a new custom platform called GO.ohiolink.edu that keeps traffic for shared resources within the institution’s local network. It will be live on July 1. Libraries will have a year to replace ‘proxy.ohiolink.edu’ links with GO links by the time Alma is live in summer 2025. GO links look up your institution’s proxy server to send traffic through your local proxy. Patrons authenticate to their local institution and usage metrics are correctly attributed. Specifics are being shared with ERIT and Leads. For more information, visit the GO Overview page.
